Media giant Disney seeks lawyer for Web3 release

The company is seeking legal counsel regarding releasing "next generation movies." The goal is to explore rapidly evolving technologies, including NFT and possibly meta-universes.

Disney has posted the straightforward job search for a Web3 worker, which includes tasks "to collaborate with business teams in planning new global emerging technology projects in additional segments such as meta-universe and decentralized finance." Interesting... 

The announcement was posted on LinkedIn Saturday morning. Disney CEO Bob Chapek told a D23 Expo fan convention on Sept. 10 that the company is researching and developing plans for a meta-universe, Deadline reported.

The new lawyer will work in the Walt Disney Company's legal department, in the corporate transactions division, and must have at least five years of experience managing and handling complex corporate transactions, preferably at a large multinational law firm with an internationally recognized corporate practice.
