- Powell (an idiot according to Trump):
A period of low rates is not the baseline scenario in the foreseeable future.
Inflation has decreased without a sharp rise in unemployment, a rare historical case.The Fed will adjust its overall policy development structure.

If the Fed raises rates, it typically has a negative impact on markets. However, there’s a nuance: markets may anticipate rate holds or increases and continue growing if other factors (e.g., investment opportunities, credit demand) seem favorable.

What’s happening with our crypto market:

- JPMorgan predicts that in the second half of 2025, $BTC will likely have greater growth potential than gold.
Unlike gold, $BTC has steadily growing demand, with upside potential from official institutions, institutional investors, and other influential players who haven’t fully entered or completed their Bitcoin purchases.
In the future, $BTC could become an independent asset, decoupling from the S&P 500, and serve as a gold-like safe haven during market uncertainty and fear.

- Centrifuge introduced a new deRWA token standard, allowing issuers to convert existing tokenized securities into DeFi-compatible assets.
Tokenization of various assets has been a topic of interest for years, but the RWA hype and boom are yet to materialize. We’ll keep watching.
