According to analysts at Nansen, Crypto investors have spent nearly $3 billion on minting non-fungible tokens in the first six months of 2022. The amount is calculated on the Ethereum blockchain. In ETH, the amount also looks solid - almost a million ETH.

One and a half million crypto-investors minted coins, which accounted for almost 14% of the weekly volume of all NFT transactions.

About 15,000 free projects - collections of tokens - have appeared on the Ethereum platform. A total of 140 collections managed to sell NFTs of a thousand or more ETHs. At the same time, more than half of the projects (both paid and free) attracted no more than five ethers.

Half of the airwaves from direct sales settled in personal wallets. Less than 4% went to service providers and non-government organisations. A high percentage of funds is also made up for investments for new projects in the crypto world.

Analysts also concluded that there was more money in the wallets of institutional participants compared to last year.
