Ever since Elon Musk tried to buy Twitter, the issue of the number of bots on the platform has become more pressing than ever. Every day hundreds of thousands of fraudulent emails fill the social network, and many accounts are even verified. However, they are just bots created for cryptocurrency scams.
Bots are very common in the cryptocurrency industry, whether a social network or just another scam for some project. Although people regularly report bots and openly complain about the problem, Twitter has done little to address it.
Currently, legions of bots that mimic CZ can be found in replays under the tweets of almost any famous person or project. For example, the Twitter account Bitcoin.com News has 2.6 million followers. Every time the account posts a new article, spam accounts pop up in large numbers, many of which are fake CZ accounts.
The duplicate CZ spam accounts and bots can be found in the tweets of almost every popular Twitter account, including Coindesk, Cointelegraph, The Block, Coinbase, Crypto.com, Bitfinex, Blockchain.com, and others.
Twitter was littered with lots of Vitalik Buterin copy bots. Worst of all, some of these accounts have a blue check mark for verification. Even Buterin openly ridiculed one of the typical comments that crypto bots-fraudsters like to utter on Twitter: "But why is everybody silentFQTP on this????" (and then shit like put 2 Ethers into our pool and we will give you 4, or put 4 in and we will give you 8-16 Ethers).
For a couple of years, there's been an Instagram account with posts from 2016, like Vitalik Buterin's account. It has over a million followers, and there are a lot of famous people among the followers. This is to say that everything can be perfectly done. Just so you understand, it's better to blow some "super mega promotion" or "give away free Ethers" than to lose what you've been earning for years. And just so you know, Vitalik has no Instagram, as well as some other social networks :D.
