Crypto-winter has arrived, but not for women. In fact, 10 percent of women in the survey chose cryptocurrency as their first investment.

A survey conducted by BlockFi found that Generation Z women and millennials who are just starting out in investing are more willing to put their money into cryptocurrency than anything else.

On October 24 this year, U.S. cryptocurrency company Blockfi released a crypto survey assessing women's investment patterns in the latest edition of a crypto survey. The results showed that one in ten women chose cryptocurrencies as their first investment.

In addition to these results, a previous Real Talk: Women x Crypto 2.0 survey conducted in March 2022 found that 33% of women who had already invested started with cryptocurrencies.

Among the respondents, 17% were millennials, and 11% were Generation Z or post-millennials (like latecomers who are not millennials but not yet Generation Z). The purpose of the survey is to get data to generate honest and "real" conversations about the cryptocurrency world, its current state, and where it is headed in terms of general acceptance.

According to the survey, 10% of women have invested in cryptocurrencies. By comparison, the vast majority (33%) expect to invest in retirement funds as their first entry into the market.
