The mayor of Miami, Mr Suarez, told reporters this Thursday that his team plans to release 5,000 NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain. Well, they're planning to open a mint event at the end of the year, when exactly is dunno. 

TIME, Mastercard and Salesforce will join the mayor and his ideas. If the first two you know, we'll tell you about Salesforce. It's such a big-big developer of CRM systems. Long story short, giants in the building. 

NFT won't just be Miami's pfp pics, but with utilities. NFTs will give residents access to special events, restaurants, tours, etc.

So what? 

Yes, Miami is very far away from us. From most of us. But! It's cool that the people in power are changing the vector of the NFT view, making something useful out of "just JPEGs", something that can be used in real life.
