G20 really wished to regulate the crypto sector

Hey, Moni Maker! 👾

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day, and today is Love Yourself Day! So let's start the week by realising that you're the only one who has anyone but you. Well, in terms of...

Friends can leave, and loved ones can turn away - but you'll still have yourself for the rest of your life. And if you've decided to change your life and go through all the troubles that come with crypto - you're great! Kudos to you :)

Today's digest will be about a cool NFT project and GHO testnet.

Let’s go!

G20 wanna regulate crypto

Nirmala Sitharaman, president of the G20, said that one country alone couldn't do anything about such a big industry as crypto, so nations must finally unite and make some rules for users.

First things first:

– The G20 is a club of the most emerging economies. India, the United States, China, Russia, Germany, Japan, etc.

– Nirmala Sitharaman is the president of G20

– She is from India. India both forbids and regulates cryptocurrencies. Can't get the way…

So what?

2023 may be decisive in crypto regulation fate because SEC is playing with staking, and there is more and more talk at the G20 level.

It's a double-edged sword, as always. Regulation will open doors for big players and normies, who were afraid of crypto before - but it will also kill the freedom and decentralisation of crypto, the thread of which, of course, we see without any regulation... Have a lovely week!
