Well, well, well, stop. Is this for real?! :) Winamp has announced that they will add support for musical NFTs in a new update!   

Oh, yeah. It's like with last digest's Metallica - better define first, because Solana flippers won't get it. Winamp is a media player from the nineties and early noughties. The first version was released back in 1997.   

And now, users can connect their Metamask via Brave, Chrome, or Firefox browsers and add NFT music to the player to listen to the music. ERC-721 and ERC-1155 will be readable. And a quote:

“The genesis of Winamp has always been about accessibility and innovation, and today we are proud to launch the very first standalone player reading audio NFTs, as well as any other existing formats,” said Winamp CEO Alexandre Saboundjian in a statement. “This new version of Winamp allows people to listen to any file they want, using a player they already love.”

The update will come in 2023.
