Today, the Gem City DAO decided to buy out ALL the metaverses. Hm...1-2 plots of land in each. The city treasury has already prepared the stablecoins for this event.
Follow our Telegram and Twitter to all metaverses would have Gems! And remember...
We appreciate your Time. Time is Moni.
Let’s start our daily show! Guests, come in!
Bastion has raised $9,000,000 in Series A. Three Arrows, FTX, The Spartan Group and others contributed money - not an insufficient contribution to build an enormous Bastion.
If anyone forgot, Bastion is a decentralised lending and borrowing protocol on NEAR and the only primary DeFi protocol with Stableswap and Lending products. TVL is already $620,000,000, and USN is also coming out soon.
We've already written about it recently in our #ApeOrHate column; you can read about it here.
Today is about NFT. The Aura Network is a layer-1 blockchain platform built to accelerate the mass adoption of NFT. It's also powered on Cosmos. The guys want to make a network that is exclusively for NFT. Mainnet is promised to be hooked up sometime in the third quarter of 2022.
This week the guys have raised $2.5 million with funds like Coin98 Ventures and KuCoin Labs.
You can DYOR the project at this link.
OpenSea's competitor, NFT marketplace LooksRare, has launched an enjoyable (and lucrative!) lure.
Tokens will now be handed out for NFT manipulation, which the marketplace is used for. 250,000 LOOKS tokens! And they will be divided among eligible users.
An exciting way to entice the degens, let's see what happens. Because OpenSea still won't roll out their token. You can read more about what's required to get a freebie here.
NFT. Ah, yes. That's not enough to describe the project... Mintbase is an NFT marketplace built on NEAR. Its peculiarity is that it's relatively easy to use. Anyone who isn't particularly tech-savvy can make their own NFT. Mintbase also takes 2% fees if you put an asset up for sale. If you don't put anything up, you just create it; they don't charge anything.
Just recently, the guys raised $7.5 million in a Series A round.
DYOR? There's a link.
Solo-staking Metis? You are welcome! The opportunity to stake Metis is back on OKX. APY up to 50%. DYOR.
It's been a while since we've had a Solana project! Delta One is the platform that wants to bring farming to mass adoption. The guys offer automated and insured markets and structured farming strategies to the users. Long story short, they make farming simple, literally "one click".
Funds: Alameda Research, AlleyCorp, Moonshot, MGNR. Btw, the project raised $9.1k some days ago.
Do u remember when we wrote about the Bored Apes Yacht Club side project? Well, Otherside has started to show signs of life. Yes, it will be a meta-universe (metaverse), and it will launch on April 30.
What else we've learned:
- Project discord is already open - join here
Interesting stuff! The platform, which previously acted as one of the mouthpieces of digital piracy, has raised $10,000,000, including from those it had previously successfully pirated.
Investors are Kraken Ventures, Arrington Capital, Crypto.com Capital, deadmau5 and DAO Jones. The piastres raised will build connectivity between crypto and music, supporting artists and creating top content.
Investors are prophesying for the platform to grate future and generally wow wow cool, but the question is! Will those who were once already affected by LimeWire happily cooperate? We shall have to wait and see.
Well, Stripe, an American tech company, adds payments in stablecoins to Twitter. USDC on the Polygon blockchain! Yo, yo, blow out the candles.
This move will help Twitter users monetise their activities there. Yeah, now shillers of all kinds of shit can get some extra dough, not only from scammers who pay for tweets ala "buy this coin, it'll be x10000 in 5 seconds".
Remember Ronin? The one that got hacked for $600+ million. Ronin wasn't a simple one; it was an Ethereum sidechain for Axie Infinity. So!
The US Treasury has sanctioned three more Ethereum wallets. These wallets have been linked to the Lazarus group from North Korea.
And Axie Infinity developers are actively raising money to give back to the victims. They've already raised $150 million in a round that involved Binance, Animoca Brands, Andreessen Horowitz, Paradigm and others. And CZ said yesterday that its team was able to wrest $5.8 million from hackers - for the dough was on Binance addresses.
