Today the whole world celebrates Sons' Day. Yep, we are all sons of bitcoin, whether we like it or not. Satoshi Nakamoto gave birth to such an awesome kid that it's not even "mum's friend's son"; it's the smartest great kid in that class.

El Salvador president Nayib Bukele announced plans to build a "Bitcoin city" in eastern El Salvador. Initial funding for the project will be met through the issuance of billion-dollar Bitcoin-backed bonds in 2022. The city will be entirely powered by local geothermal energy.

Well, Dorsey, the head of Twitter and Square, wants to make his DEX ala Uniswap, but with bitcoin. And so yesterday, the team released the whitepaper. 

The white paper claims tbDEX is a "protocol for discovering liquidity and exchanging assets (such as bitcoin, fiat money, or real world goods)" safely without knowing the identity of other parties. Moreover, it says the protocol goes around financial intermediaries and other gatekeepers (such as centralized exchanges) that guard the borders between fiat and digital currencies.
