The Twitter account of renowned digital artist Beeple has been hacked! The rascal posted a phishing link that could have been used to say goodbye to your hard-earned airwaves.
The site was a spoof of the Beeple and Louis Vuitton collab (which had previously taken place in 2019). After clicking on the link, one Ethereum changed ownership from the clicker to another, more cunning one. Before access to the account was restored, the hacker managed to enrich himself by about $70,000.
There has been a lot of this kind of scam going on lately. Put up poop, and the scammers will be put to shame!
Bored Ape Yacht Club's NFT collection has fallen 50+ per cent against the dollar since early May.
The minimum price on Wednesday fell below $200,000. Well, recently, an ape could be picked up for $400,000. The trading dynamics have also changed, with sales down by 117 pieces or about 30%.
As you can see, NFT blue chips did not become a haven during the storm of the whole market...
