Nokia believes that metaverses will replace smartphones

The meta-universe will be based on virtual reality headsets and augmented reality glasses, allowing users to interact in several activities. 

Nokia, one of the first manufacturers to create a cell phone system, predicts the decline of the now-famous cell phone trend in favor of the meta-universe. 

This a strong statement, but it will have to be tested, at least by time. And no, judging by the statement, phones won't disappear. They'll just become fulfilling :D. Although augmented reality devices still have a long way to go, Nokia believes that audience interest in such devices will grow, serving as an impetus for the development of the metaverse.

The widespread adoption of the technology by corporations and consumers alike will be crucial to its takeoff. It will also depend on the availability of affordable, ergonomic wireless VR and AR devices.

And the availability and price of such a solution are of great importance. After all, as one clever man said, the future is not when a new technology appears but when it becomes available to everyone. And perhaps there is a great deal of truth in this. 

So we are waiting for the Nokia Rift 3310, with which it will be possible to crack nuts and experience the immersiveness of virtual universes.
