The NFT Cryptopunks collection has overtaken the Yacht Club floor monkeys and is on par

On 21 August on Sunday, the Cryptopunks floor briefly overtook the BAYC floor. 66.45 Ethers for the Cryptopunk floor and 64.99 Ethers for the monkeys.

For a little time, the Cryptopunks collection did regain the throne they were on a year ago.

Although, according to cryptoslam.io statistics, NFT sales volume is down 18%. At the same time, BAYC's sales volume for the week was 15,087,189, an increase of 61.47% from last week.

These changes at the top of the Ether NFTs are primarily due to the release of Yuga Labs' intellectual property rights to their Cryptopunks and Meebits collections (we wrote about this incidentally).

After a brief flip on Sunday afternoon, BAYC managed to regain the top spot their floor was 68.48 ETH and Cryptopunks' floor was 66.45 ETH.
