A hacker posted a fake XRP giveaway on Venezuela's largest accounting Twitter account

A hacker stole the PwC acc, a well-known Venezuelan Big Four company, and then posted a fake XRP token giveaway, most likely to empty users' wallets.

One of the not-so-common types of hacking is the promotion of phishing sites and smart contracts from the accounts of celebrities. They get hacked before that, as you have already understood.

In our case, the Twitter of the accounting company PwC, namely the Venezuelan one, was hacked. The company itself is international and, by the way, belongs to the Big Four. These are the 4 coolest auditing and consulting companies in the world.

The hacker himself tweeted after the hack, "Problem, reaction, solution #XRP," and the photo was of Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse. Eight more tweets like this came out later. The site the tweet led to was a phishing site. The original site address was replaced there with the same one, but only in appearance. In fact, some of the characters are often substituted with similar ones from Unicode.

And in fact, it's precisely the same for the average person as the original one. Still, in fact, it's the malicious user's site. So, friend, it's better not to fall for all sorts of giveaways, multipliers, etc. Even if you loot or abuse airdrop, do it from any wallet except the main one :D.
