Cryptocurrency exchange Binance burned 2.5 billion LUNC

The company recently took 2.5 billion Terra Classic tokens off the table in a single transaction during the third round of burns.

According to the Binance pages, the $LUNC tokens were worth about $660,000 at the time of the burn and were burned in response to a community proposal to burn trade fees on the blockchain.

If you recall, the original Terra ecosystem broke up earlier this year. It was later rebranded to Terra Classic, and the new, forked blockchain took the Terra brand with it. That can't be called a plus, though.

The cryptocurrency community is optimistic about Terra Classic in the long term, as price estimates reported on CoinMarketCap showed that the $LUNC community expects the cryptocurrency to grow more than 500% in price by the end of the year.

On the other hand, we can't say anything about the project because it's challenging to evaluate it after the recent collapse. The most important thing is that you, a resident of Gem City, think with your head and make your conclusions before reacting :D.
