Crypto exchange Coinbase, will suspend trading of BUSD

On March 13th, cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase will suspend trading of Binance USD (BUSD) at noon Eastern Time.

The exchange announced this via its official Twitter account:

"We regularly review assets on our exchange to ensure that they meet our listing standards. Based on our latest reviews, Coinbase will suspend trading of Binance USD (BUSD) on March 13, 2023, at approximately 12 pm Eastern Time."

Recall that Paxos responded to the SEC and announced that it would stop issuing BUSD from February 21.

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) demanded that Paxos stop mining stablecoins BUSD from February 13. The SEC stated that Paxos had violated securities laws and investor protection.
