Bluesky, backed by the Twitter team, is a project to "develop an open and decentralised standard for social media". And so, the guys released the first piece of code on Wednesday.
Called Authenticated Data eXperiment (ADX), it all contains an SDK and a server implementation and basic commands of what you can do on the social network, including creating posts and likes.
According to the Bluesky team, this is not a full-fledged product but a demonstration of features; for now, releasing code at this stage is part of its commitment to "work openly and share its progress".

SDK (software development kit) is a set of software development tools in one installable package.
They facilitate the creation of applications by having a compiler, a debugger and sometimes a software environment. They mainly depend on the combination of computer hardware platform and operating system.
