Yet another proof to the piggy bank that corporations are starting to wonder... Is crypto really as bad as various opponents of this technology paint it?
First of all, now there will be an opportunity to sell your NFT in various games, well, not for you, but for the developers. Such a fic will be introduced. Although... That is, the App Store may fill a whole bunch of NFT games from bad to top.
But in doing so, Apple will continue to charge the classic fee in the form of 30% off in-app purchases.
Second, apps, including games, will not be allowed to redirect users to other sites or resources where they can buy something inside the game to bypass commissions from Apple. Although previously, Fortnite already tried to do so, a series of courts delivered to developers of the game showed that this was clearly not the most excellent option.
Thirdly NFT bought outside of the game can't be used on a par with the ones you purchased directly in the app through Apple. Including the ones, you bought before the app came to Apple's platform.
In short, Apple clearly won't let it go. And it will only work on its own terms, even if the third point doesn't look user-friendly. Is that a bad thing? More likely, no than yes, because despite rather strict conditions, they can bring a significant contribution to the mass-adoption of crypto.
