Yuga Labs to release NFT collection on the Bitcoin blockchain

The project behind the legendary Bored Ape Yacht Club collection is now planning to ride the wave of Bitcoin ordinals' popularity.

On Monday, Yuga Labs announced that it plans to release a collection of NFTs minted using the Ordinals protocol on the Bitcoin blockchain, whose popularity seems to be still growing. Although more than a month has passed since the Bitcoin NFT wave began!

The collection, called TwelveFold, will include 300 generative NFTs created by Yuga Labs, placed on a 12x12 grid that serves as a "visual allegory of data mapping on the Bitcoin blockchain."

According to representatives of Yuga Labs, the NFTs will include both 3D elements and hand-drawn artworks.

Yuga Labs plans to open the TwelveFold auction this week, calling on its audience that is knowledgeable about Ethereum to create Bitcoin wallets before the minting begins.
