The hacker who hacked Mango Markets has offered to leave him $70 million as a reward for the hack

The Solana DeFi protocol suffered a $117 million hack on Oct. 11, and the hacker wants $70 million for a "bug bounty."

A "bug bounty" program is when a hacker tests a system/site/program for security for a sure reward. So there you go.

Just recently, one skilled hacker was able to hack the Mango Markets platform and withdraw 117 billion baht. Well, the story is over. Someone buys a second passport and flies to Bali to live, while someone suffers severe losses.

But no. It's still unknown if law enforcement and crypto detectives were able to get on the intruder's tail. Still, he showed up and asked for 70 million of the 117 stolen to leave him as a bug bounty.

In case you didn't get it! His condition is that he will be declared a legitimate hacker and given 70 million as a bug bounty, and he will return the other 47. And with a pure soul, he can walk free, drink beer, eat doughnuts, and experience the rest of the joys of life.

But this is just his imagination, judging by the project users' response (in translation, of course): "You are disgusting. What you have done is wrong in every possible way. The responsibility would have been to disclose the vulnerability to the team, not exploit it. I hope law enforcement shows you ZERO mercy."

Although the vote on the hacker proposal is still going on
