Terra CEO Do Kwon shills token

Share

Giving interviews to no-name journalists, Do Kwon shilled Terra and tried to defend the situation without mentioning that money was stolen from the company.

A real Twitter drama! While Do Kwon, along with a possibly corrupt journalist, tried to defend themselves, well-known Twitter personality Fatman wasn't shy about talking about the two trying to shill further the scam token.

We won't mention the journalist that interviewed Do Kwon after the collapse; firstly, we're sure you don't know him. Secondly, we don't want to PR the scammers.

In the teaser, Do Kwon has refuted Terra's intentions as the original scam: “Terra was supposed to be a stablecoin, and it didn’t remain stable. Therefore, it must be a fraud, and must be a scam. Crypto is still sort of like the wild wild west. I think I developed like sort of, an alter ego.”

Kwon then decided to turn the situation around beautifully and blame the market, mentioning the company only in a small part. After asking if he regretted his past comments, "Yes, but algorithmic stablecoin was starting to become the industry standard. I made a big bet, and I think I lost."

User Fatman labelled this interview as licking of not just the token but the company along with Do Kwon. “Do, why not have an interview with someone more neutral and respectable like Bloomberg or Fortune instead of someone who has been consistently shilling you for *years*, almost as if he’s paid? And will you address the billions you cashed out of the system?”

After that the interviewer called Fatman's opinion not authoritative. And stated that he had offered to meet him to discuss everything, but he had refused, insinuating that Fatman was afraid of being "leaked" during the meeting. Fatman said in turn that the offer looked something like this:

- Hello, is this Fatman?

- Hello, yes.

- Are you in Singapore?

- No, I'm in the UK; I live here.

- Ah, OK.

Anyway, for now, all we can do is watch Do Kwon try to whitewash his reputation by going around the unknown media. We'll have to watch for the outcome of these Twitter battles.
