Solana has taken on NFT spam elimination in serious

Cryptocurrency wallet Phantom wallet, powered by Solana's blockchain, has added a new Burn Token feature that allows users to remove NFT spam sent out by scammers.

"We are still in the Wild West days of Web3. As the crypto ecosystem grows, so does the number of bad players looking for ways to steal users' funds. The rapid growth in popularity of NFT has led to scammers using an increasingly common method of attack - NFT spamming," - told the Phantom wallet team.

Why has this problem affected Solana specifically, but we haven't heard the same thing about Ethereum? There are two reasons. According to CryptoSlam, Solana had the second highest NFT sales in July with $56.1 million, behind only Ethereum, which had sales of $535.6 million.
