Opensea will support only proof-of-stake Ether

The project has announced that only new Ether will be supported after the merger. This statement came right after Polygon's support.

Opensea tweeted, "(the company) is committed to supporting NFT only on the updated Ethereum PoS chain." Also, according to the company, it is actively preparing for the upcoming merger so as not to freeze accounts, payouts, well, & other components of the ecosystem.

Circle and Chainlink have also supported the initiative, & in exactly the same way, r going to support only Proof-of-Stake. Ethereum merger is expected to happen sometime between September 10 & 20, and it is one of the most awaited updates of the network. There have already been several successful tests, & Gem City is hoping that the final merger will go off without a hitch :D.
