Lazarus hacker group sends malicious crypto jobs, Mac OS users

A North Korean hacker group is sending fake information to infect users' computers with malware.

A cybersecurity company discovered that the hacker group used hoax documents to advertise jobs on a Singapore-based cryptocurrency exchange platform called Crypto.com and, accordingly, conducted hacks.

The malware used for the hacks was identical to the one used in the fake Coinbase job ads.

While it is unclear how the malware is distributed, earlier reports suggested that threat actors attract victims through targeted messages on LinkedIn.
