Other corporate investors spotted include BlackRock, Morgan Stanley, Samsung and Goldman Sachs, according to a Blockdata report.

The most recent top investor in blockchain companies, compared to any other corporate investor, is Alphabet Corporation. This is the company that owns Google itself :D.

The timeframe the report considered was from September 2021 to June 2022. They mainly focused on four blockchain companies, including digital asset storage platform Fireblocks, Web3 gaming company Dapper Labs, bitcoin infrastructure tool Voltage and venture capital firm Digital Currency Group.

Though as recently as last year, the amount of money to be injected was much smaller, around $600 million. And risk diversification was done through 17 blockchain companies, including Dapper Labs, Alchemy, Blockchain.com, Celo, Helium and Ripple.

The data also showed that banks have begun increasing their presence in cryptocurrencies and blockchain companies, driven by increasing customer demand for crypto services.
