Creator of Twitter launches decentralized alternative...Twitter!

Jack Dorsey is launching a project called Bluesky, which is a decentralized Twitter.

This is not something new - Dorsey previously sponsored Damus, which was built on the Nostr protocol, and now he is doing something of his own. The platform is currently being tested, and it can be downloaded from the App Store, but only if you have been invited to the closed beta test.

We haven't been given more details yet, but this perspective from Dorsey shows that there is a demand for such a platform. The platform's policies, rules, and whether there will be a token are still interesting questions. However, knowing Dorsey and his love for Bitcoin maximalism, there may only be one token. We shall see!
