Bored Apes Yacht Club's NFT collection will get its own Web-3 social network

Because of the danger of hacking and fraud in Web-2, BAYC will introduce its Web-3 platform, on which the user will be responsible for the safety of NFT.

A correlation can be made lately between the popularity and hype of NFT collections and the amount of fraud on the subject. Many people are creating accounts with fake subscribers, or hacking into real people's accounts to steal or swindle other people's NFTs. 

Yesterday, the founders turned to instagram and announced an upcoming platform to verify applications for Bored Apes and the others in the Yuga ecosystem.

Web3 makes Web2's security look obsolete. Platforms like this, where wallet logins are the norm, will likely become the norm in the years to come because they are infinitely more secure.
