The bot supports 3 CEX exchanges: Bitget, Binance, Bybit. If you already know how to get your exchange's API key, you can skip this step and proceed to the next.
Let’s look at generating API keys for Bybit and Binance exchanges.
To connect the Newsly Telegram bot and Bybit, you need to generate a special set of API keys exclusively for Newsly. Follow these steps to generate your API keys on Bybit:
- Log in to your account. If you don't have one, you can create it here.
- Go to the account or sub-account you intend to use.
- Click on your profile and select "API" from the dropdown menu, as shown below:
- In the API window, click "Create New Keys.” You'll be asked to select the type of API key. If unsure, choose "System Generated API Keys."
- Name your key something recognizable, like "Newsly," and copy the permissions shown below to ensure your setup matches. Be sure to add the following IP address to your API key for extra security: 52.30.103.212
- Done! Make sure to save your API key and secret word in a safe place.
- Select "API Management" from the user menu in the top-right corner.
- Click "Create API." You'll be asked to choose the type of API key. Select "System Generated API Keys."
- After creating the key, click "Edit Restrictions” and check the "Enable Futures" box or copy the permissions as shown below:
- Be sure to add the following IP address to your API key for extra security: 52.30.103.212

- Copy the API-ID you generated earlier.
- Copy the API secret associated with your account.
Don't be surprised if the bot immediately deletes the message for security reasons.
If you've completed these steps correctly, you'll receive a message about successful completion. Then, press the "Settings" button to configure trading parameters.
At this stage, you need to configure the “Long” and “Short” buttons. Speed is crucial in news trading, so these settings allow you to set a fixed amount for each type of trade. To set this value, go to "Settings" -> "Set Long/Short Button Value" and enter the desired amount for each click.
Given the fast and volatile nature of news trading, the bot supports “Stop Loss” and “Take Profit” functions. By default, these options are disabled. However, they can be easily activated through the "Settings" menu. Note that both functions use percentages and apply only to newly opened positions.
To view or adjust trading parameters at any time, simply press the "Settings" button.
All set! To confirm, press the "Account" button. Here, you'll see details like the status of your account, the number of tokens at your disposal, your current balance, and the dollar value of open trades.
Join the news channel through this link. Keep an eye on the news flow to react to news events using the "Long" and "Short" buttons.
To control and adjust your active trades, simply press the "Open Positions" button.
Here, you can view the profit and loss for each trade. Additionally, you have the option to reduce your position by 10%, 25%, 50%, or 75%, or to close the trade completely.
That's it. Remember, the bot is not a magic money button. Effort and flexibility are required. But with the right setup and experience, you'll succeed! Follow the bot's Twitter for updates.
