Binance, CEX, looking for FUNDS

Hey Moni Maker 🗿

Today the whole world celebrates Sons' Day. Yep, we are all sons of bitcoin, whether we like it or not. Satoshi Nakamoto gave birth to such an awesome kid that it's not even "mum's friend's son"; it's the smartest great kid in that class.

Of course, times change, and something new replaces the old school, but we must remember our roots. And Digest remembers. Let's go!

TINDER DIDN'T HELP? :(

Binance is looking for friends

Binance is in preliminary discussions with “several” sovereign wealth funds about investing in its global entity, Zhao said in a Nov. 23 interview with the Financial Times, declining to name any specific funds.

Zhao hopes that Binance’s “perception and relationships” with regulators around the world would improve if sovereign wealth funds took a stake in the company, according to the report. “But it may also tie us to specific countries...which we want to be slightly careful with,” Zhao said.

So what?

What are the funds? How will they affect Binance? Sounds like a compromise. We are willing to hand over some power to the funds in the name of stopping the war with the regulators... what do you think?

Money to crypto

Thirty-one percent of hedge fund managers, 24% of alternative investors, and 13% of private equity managers said they planned to add crypto to their portfolios in the next one to two years. Managers of the largest firms–hedge funds overseeing more than $10 billion or investors with $2 billion to $10 billion–were most likely to be planning to get into crypto, according to the Ernst & Young study.

Ownix wanted to kick the ball, but kicked the BALLS

FC Barcelona cancelled a marketing deal with non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace Ownix on Thursday. The decision comes less than five days before the soccer powerhouse is scheduled to auction its first NFT collection through the platform.

The Associated Press and other publications reported that the cancellation followed the arrest earlier Thursday of Israeli crypto mogul Moshe Hogeg on fraud involving cryptocurrencies and assault charges. The publications also reported that Hogeg has ties to Ownix, which operates on the Ethereum blockchain. Hogeg lists the company in the Interests section of his LinkedIn profile.
