Today, in 1926, Alan Milne's "Winnie the Pooh" was published in London. Yeah, freaking Winnie lives well, especially when the bear market wakes up and starts breaking the dreams of investors, long-time traders and hodlers with its mighty paws.
Winnie, we loved you as a kid, but now we're shorting on you. Somehow. Digest!
As Decrypt reports, Visa launched an NFT-centric program in partnership with noted crypto artist Micah Johnson, the creator of the NFT character Aku. Together, Visa and Johnson aim to help creators and small business owners better understand how NFTs work, and how they can use blockchain networks and cryptocurrency to create and sell digital work.
Visa will put out an open call for creators who want to take part in the initiative and choose an initial class of creators to take part in the project. The firm will sponsor and consult with the group, as well as âlook to foster meaningful relationshipsâ between the participating creators and Visaâs payment partners.
âWe believe that we are at the beginning of a digital renaissance in the world of art and content creationâa flourishing ecosystem of artists, musicians, writers, photographers, and curators building communities at the intersection of culture and commerce,â tweeted Cuy Sheffield, Visa vice president and head of crypto.
Well! These guys from VISA have bought CryptoPunk recently. We know thatâs a great marketing step!
So itâs fascinating to watch how FTX connects with sports, Binance connects with football and now VISA connects with NFTs. We canât troll here. Wish luck to them all!
As Bloomberg reports, the USA became the epicentre of Bitcoin mining. China is outplayed, of course.
According to an Oct. 12 report from local news agency Interfax, Alexey Moiseev, the deputy finance minister of the Russian Federation, said he believes Russian citizens will continue to be allowed to buy and use cryptocurrencies outside the country on foreign exchanges without the threat of legal action at home. Crypto payments in the country are currently banned, but Russians have been allowed to purchase and trade cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC).
Okay. Mr Moiseev said he BELIEVES SO. No official statements. Everything can happen.
Yield Duck is trolling, speaking about the market and trolling again. What can be better?
