You know, it's not so easy to recall any significant historical events while the holidays are in full swwing. And in general, who will work, let alone announce any significant achievements during hoidays? Let's also relax, spend time with our families and friends. Dive into our digest, though — staying up to date on all the major crypto events only takes 5 minutes.
Let’s go!
Messari analyst Ryan Watkins believes institutional investors' preferences will expand to Ethereum in 2021. The Chicago Mercantile Exchange's (CME) announcement of the launch of Ethereum futures suggests there is strong demand from large investors.
The analyst thinks that after major bitcoin purchases by institutional investors, it will be easier to think that other cryptocurrencies may be interesting to invest in as well.
Let us remind you that Ethereum futures trading on CME will start on February 8, 2021.
Anyone surprised that ETH is the first to follow Bitcoin? Don't think so!
DeFi was born by Buterin. It's time for a new baby!
The Block conducted a survey, based on the results of which experts expect that already in 2021, some of the S & P 500 companies will buy bitcoin.
106 people took part in the survey. Only 2.7% of respondents stated that not more than one company from S&P500 index would invest in bitcoin. 29.7% of the respondents think the number of such companies will be between 1 and 4, while 51.4% expect the number to be 5 to 9. 16.2% of respondents think more than ten companies from the S&P500 index will buy bitcoin.
At the moment, despite the large number of companies investing in bitcoin, there are no companies from the S&P500 index among them yet. There is a chance that Square, which bought $50 million worth of bitcoins in October, will enter the index next year, or Tesla, which is already in the S&P500 but has not yet invested in bitcoin (which may happen in the near future).
It was too obvious. Crypto is Noah's Ark. Who wouldn't want to survive a crisis?
You'll sell there now...but you can make a mistake. What will happen?: PayPal can simply be hacked, and then bitcoin will be blamed for everything!
First, prove your worth, then buy up. Okay?
And one more thing...Buy Bitcoin! 😉
