NFT's Doodles ETH collection sales increased 12x due to the funding round

After the funding round, the project was valued at $704 million. And sales increased after Alexis Ohanian, co-founder of the largest and most famous online forum, Reddit, led that funding round.

Earlier today, the creators of Doodles announced a $54 million funding round led by Seven Seven Six, the venture capital firm of Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.

According to CryptoSlam, Doodles NFT sales totaled $2.1 million in the last 24 hours, a 1,224% increase over the previous 24 hours, according to the platform's ranking, which covers sales on all trading platforms.

Doodles is an NFT profile image project that includes 10,000 Ethereum tokens, each with arbitrary character traits.

Doodles, featuring the work of artist Scott "Burnt Toast" Martin, announced plans to launch a larger Doodles 2 collection of millions of customizable avatars in June.

They also plan to launch their second collection on their blockchain to enable cheaper and faster transactions. Before today's funding announcement, many NFT holders feared that the company that issued them had bailed.

The project had not been in touch and had not tweeted for a month and a half. But when they showed up, they decided to brag at once: "Our community, we hear you, we appreciate you, and we will continue to build together with you" - from today's post.

In general, an exciting case of how everyone thought that the project has scammed, but in fact, the floor collection grew by 19% in 24 hours :D.
