A new major hack took place on 23 March but was only spotted yesterday. This time Ronin was affected.

A specific criminal element took advantage of a vulnerability similar to the recent Wormhole hack to withdraw crypto worth around $625,000,000.

Axie Infinity co-founder Jeffrey Zirlin has already called it one of the biggest hacks in history. Some of the money has already been withdrawn to exchanges, but according to Zirlin - there is still a chance of recovering the funds and catching the hacker.
