"BTC will survive, but it may be a long winter" - Elon Musk

Share

On November 14, 2022, bitcoin, which had fallen below $16,000 and reached its lowest level in more than a year, began rising shortly after a tweet by the CEO of Tesla, SpaceX and Twitter, Ilon Musk.

The tweet appeared for a reason, which by the way is unusual for Musk :D. It was in response to a question from Jason Kalakanis, a famous investor and entrepreneur, who asked on Twitter what the price of the bitcoin would be.

About a day later, Musk, who recently bought Twitter for $44 billion, sent out a tweet saying that he was still confident about bitcoin's future, though winter may be a long time away.

No specifics about the end of winter date were heard, which is why many people don't like Musk... for his cryptic nature and ability to interpret completely unspecific wording in different ways after it didn't fit with reality. In short, you get it - for jabbering. But let's be honest, predicting anything in such a market is beyond even Satoshi himself.

Many were also surprised that Ilon finally wrote something about bitcoin and not his favorite meme dog. Some even retweeted the post about bitcoin with the quote, "Ilon, you spelled doge coin wrong."
