Revolut plans to expand its cryptocurrency staff by 20%. The changes are believed to take place within six months. Information on the planned staff increase is reported by Bloomberg.

As of today, the company has already published 13 applications for potential candidates. It is interested in a variety of professionals who are savvy about digital money. The company is particularly interested in specialists who are capable of preventing financial crime and developing on their own.

For 2022, the company has already increased its staff to 43 employees who deal directly with cryptocurrencies. Revolut sees digital money as a long-term game with great optimism, which is why it is expanding its staff in this direction.

Today, cryptocurrency generates 5-10% of Revolut's revenue. Perhaps the staff expansion is due to a desire to generate more revenue.

Over the year, there have been 30% more people buying cryptocurrency from Revolut in Britain. This data was provided by the company itself, based on reports from Juny to July.

The change in staffing is particularly noticeable against a backdrop of layoffs at other companies, such as CoinBase, OpenSea, Gemini, and Crypto.com. Binance supports Revolut and also wants to increase staff.

Recall that Revolut has previously talked about wanting to own its own token.
