Ether's co-founder and main face just recently released his book on Proof-of-Stake. That didn't stop the network's primary token from plummeting 7 percent.
On September 28, Vitalik Buterin tweeted that his book, "Proof of Stake (The Making of Ethereum and the Philosophy of Blockchains)." is available in physical and digital editions.
It is, in fact, a compilation of his work and thoughts over the past 10 years. The story began in 2013 when Ethereum was conceived due to the need for a Bitcoin scripting language for application development. It talks about the proof-of-work concept and Ethereum's evolution into proof-of-stake.
ETH has fallen 21% since the merger. Unfortunately, or fortunately for Ethereum holders, the asset took a sharp fall when Buterin's book was released. According to CoinGecko, ETH has fallen nearly 7% in the past 24 hours, dropping to $1,285 at the time of writing.
According to data provided by various analysts, if the price does not break the support level, we could see a new "bottom" in the quotations of ETH and altcoins that depend on it.
