The former CFO did not give a reason for his departure but noted that he would remain with OpenSea as an advisor.

In an Oct. 7 post on LinkedIn, the former CFO of ridesharing platform Lyft and OpenSea, Brian Roberts, announced his departure from the company. Well, the one with NFT, not ridesharing. The reasons, as we already told you - he didn't give.

Roberts is a true technology veteran who has moved to Web3 over the past few years, along with former Google VP Surojit Chatterjee, who became Coinbase's chief product officer in 2020.

Despite stepping down as CFO, Roberts says he remains "incredibly optimistic about web3."

NFT's trading volume fell 98% from the $6.2 billion seen at the end of January to $114.4 million. The NFT market has also suffered setbacks, including a 20% staff reduction in July and a significant drop in
daily trading volume.

This signals a substantial euphoria decline in the market. We'll keep you posted. Perhaps we'll find out why Brian decided to leave the CFO position at the cutting-edge NFT marketplace.
